Purpose of the blog

This blog is from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We hope this blog will facilitate a dialogue regarding how NINDS is fulfilling its mission to seek fundamental knowledge about the brain and nervous system and to use that knowledge to reduce the burden of neurological disease. NINDS wants to hear your thoughts about our scientific advances, policy issues, research priorities, news, and strategic directions.

We want this blog to be a portal for open and honest communication. We encourage you to post comments that engage us and the community in constructive conversation. You can also suggest a topic for the blog. We look forward to hearing from you, but we ask that you follow the guidelines described in the comment policy.
